Puyallup

located about 10 miles southeast of Tacoma and 35 miles south of Seattle. It has a population of over 43,000 and has deep roots in farming and agriculture. The city's name comes from the Puyallup Tribe of Native Americans and means "the generous people". Home of the Washington State fairgrounds where you can ride one of the last wooden roller coasters or eat world famous scones. See the daffodil farms awash in yellow each spring and, if you look southeast, it will feel as if you can just reach out and touch the majestic Mt Rainier.
